CJE RISC OS Programmers Initiative is back!

Posted by Richard Goodwin on 22:46, 3/8/2002 | , , ,

Chris Evans (he of the eternally full stockroom) has sent word that the CJE RPI is back! RiscPCs can be purchased for as little as 45UKP and A7000s only 20UKP, so long as you intend it for programming work. Here's the press release in full:

RiscPCs for programmers from 45.00 GBP (A7000s 20 GBP)
In a very successful scheme 'CJE RPI' From September 2000 to July 2001 CJE Micro's supplied over 40 RiscPCs at subsidised rates to programmers to promote RISC OS Programming. The Fourth Dimension (A sister company to CJE Micro's) has now secured enough computers to restart this scheme, at lower prices and no VAT to pay!

Not all RISC OS programmers have RiscPCs but for those that do, a second computer can be very helpful for checking compatibility with various RISC OS versions, network compatibility etc.. We do need suitable evidence of programming/hardware projects underway or planned. Please send details to 4d@cjemicros.co.uk marking your email "RISC OS Programming Initiative".

Yes they did. And it was successful. Both precisely as the announcement says. Are you awake this morning Jason? :-)
