New RISC OS Support Organisation

Posted by Alasdair Bailey on 15:52, 24/7/2000 |

A new support site for those interested in developing software/hardware for RISC OS has just gone online with a mixture of English and German content. The aim of the TCR (Technology Consortium for RISC OS) is to help build a knowledge pool so that potential developers can see if a particular product would have a market amongst RISC OS users. The independent nature of the site means that no one company stands to take all the input away, rather it will be shared across the market.

Amin Kharchi, founder of TCR commented: "We hope to revive the RISC OS market with this initiative and to offer the users more possibilities in the technological branch so that RISC OS computers can fulfill all needs and wishes of users". Let's hope the TCR team can at least offer some support to budding developers. Take a look at their website at http://www.t-c-r.org.
